What do you feel is the biggest value Vista brings to its clients?

Vista’s value add is different for every relationship. Some clients need help getting their financial house in order and education about the markets, others look to us for tax expertise and proactive planning. Our Discovery Process helps us identify where we can provide the greatest impact, often in areas our clients had not previously considered.

Which quality makes you best suited to provide wealth management services?

Curiosity. Asking thoughtful questions and having a genuine interest in building relationships is essential.

What professional accomplishments are you most proud of?

Earning my CFP® designation, becoming an owner at Vista, and leading our team in San Francisco.

What do you love to do outside of work?

Camping and other family adventures, spirited driving, fitness, and playing ice hockey.

Aaron White is a Principal at Vista with over 15 years' experience in equity compensation, business structures, alternative investments, and tax planning.

Aaron manages our San Francisco office and advises clients on a variety of investment and planning strategies.

He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Finance degree from the University of San Francisco and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Aaron is a volunteer coach for the San Francisco Sabercats youth ice hockey program. He also served on the Board of Directors for the SFGH Foundation, the non-profit organization supporting the mission of San Francisco General Hospital & Trauma Center.

Before joining Vista in 2009, Aaron was a member of the consulting group at Burr Pilger Mayer. He was primarily involved with business and stock option valuation of early stage biotechnology companies.
